It's official. We've entered an era where the kids just can't drink for themselves anymore. College kids around the country have been stocking up on Four Loko and other alcoholic energy drinks because last call is in the mix for these zippity-do-drinks. And this ban could not be more timely as the Center for Disease Control and Prevention has recently proved that this national public health concern has been linked to TWO deaths.

Now I know that Brewdies appreciate the methodical, specific drinking of craft brews, but I also know that some beer gadgets created for mass beer consumption are hilarious. So embrace your inner gadget geek and appreciate how awesome it is to live in a country where these items exist.

Ah, October. Pumpkin stouts, uber-hoppy seasonals, and Germany’s month to rack up some beer-goggled sexy points for gifting us Oktoberfest. While cities around the US tap into their most highly reputed beer buffs to say Guten Tag to beer fests, Pat Sargent, a recent Bryant College grad, brewed up a different plan, making him our first official Friend With Beer.
