Work is Really Affecting My Drinking

Used to be that a guy would come home from work, crack open a cold one, put on Wheel of Fortune, scream at the idiots who buy vowels when anyone who's at least attempted to take the GED exam could answer the puzzle, and reflect on a day's hard work. Those days seem to be long gone. At least for me, they are.

Like many fine Americans, I find myself severly underemployed right now.

Review 107- Cappuccino Stout by Lagunitas Brewing Company

CAPPUCCINO STOUT

Serving type: bottle

Appearance> Not a big head... almost porter looking. Excellent lacing however, and a nice warm brown colour.

Brooklyn Brewery Lets It All Hang Out At Blind Tiger

Etched in the deepest folds of the cerebrum are special moments in life you can't help but always remember: The night you lost your virginity. Your wedding day. The birth of your first child. The birth of your third child (because the second one turned out to be a shithead). The legendary night that Brooklyn Brewery took over the taps at Blind Tiger Ale House and brought an arsenal of their rarest vintages and one-off beers.

Adventures In Homebrewing

I brewed my first beer last weekend. I'm pretty proud of myself, and pretty excited to see how it comes out. From what I gather, that's a pretty common sentiment with one's first batch of homebrew, so forgive my girlish giddiness.

Impelled by my friend (and local Brew Ninja) Mark, who's been doing and championing homebrewing as a way to get exactly the kind of beer you want in much more quantity than you really need for a while now, I decided to take his advice and tap into his vast array of brewing knowledge, convincing him to co-author a beer with me.
