OMG! IF this isn't a real cutie patootie. This beer is fantastic; my sincere adoration to the BC brewboys. Way to wet hop this baby beautifully.

People are often surprised to learn that I don't home brew. Yes, I'm geeky, love being a mad scientist in the kitchen, and I adore beer, but.... Sorry, folks, I'm just a net taker. 

10TH ANNIVERSARY STRONG BELGIAN 

What a treat to have a two-year old bottle of this opened in my presence! World class!

Oh, I really wanted to like this one... especially because I was drinking it at the table next to one of the Beach Chalet brewers...

THIRD EYE RYE

Met the brewer Aaron, and his assistant Brian, who told me a lot about this... the 1,000th batch brewed at Beach Chalet. 

PRESIDIO INDIA PALE ALE

Again, as with the majority of my Beach Chalet Brewery reviews, this may be slightly skewed by the bliss that is an afternoon spent sitting on the Adirondacks in the sunshine.

 

GOLDEN GATE PARK PORTER

Appearance> Tootsie roll brown, vanilla head which dissipated. Lively. Good lacing.

Smell> Slightly sour with notes of chocolate and toast.

RIPTIDE RED 

Serving type: on-tap

Appearance> dark ruby read, lively, clear, creamy white head, good lacing, but no head retention.

HOP SESSION

Was super bummed out to find them all-out of Saison du Plage, because it rocks so hard... 

SAISON DU CHALET DE PLAGE

Would have preferred to have this in a different glass, but what can you do? The Chalet's beers are usually served in nonic, so they probably just put them all in the same.
